Accountant, Group Finance Department
(Alor Setar - Kedah)

> Responsible for monitoring and coordinating with overseas subsidiaries for their accounts management and collecting financial information for analysis and planning purposes.
> Provide support to overseas subsidiaries finance for completion of internal and external audit/tax, reporting/government returns & local compliances.
> Establish, maintain and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and internal control system, to safeguard assets and operations.
> Perform reconciliation checks to ensure accuracy of reports and perform in-depth financial analysis.
> Assist the management in ad-hoc projects which require financial input.
> To ensure timely reporting of Financial Statements by overseas subsidiaries to HQ-Malaysia.

> Possess a Degree in Accountancy or related Professional Qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA).
> Good command of English.
> Good team leader and able to work independently under tight timelines.
> Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and Income Tax Acts.
> Analytical, accurate and able to work with minimum supervision.
> Good commitment to tasks and have a sense of urgency to complete the tasks assigned.
