| Financial
- Since listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia in 30 September 2003, DXN has
earned a commendable achievement in a short period of 5 years.
- For the latest financial year ended 28 February 2007, DXN Group´s revenue increased
enormously by 166% to RM199.46 million against RM74.94 million for the financial year
ended 28 February 2003.
- In the same period, net profit has seen an applauded increase of 71% to RM23.95
million, compared to RM14.01 million for the financial year ended 28 February 2003.
- The achievements in the financial year 2007 are record-high both in revenue and net
profit.
- For the first half of the financial year ended 30 August 2007, DXN Group´s revenue and
net profit reached RM107.96 million and RM11.20 million respectively, both recorded a
better result compared to the same period in the previous financial year.
Operations
- DXN Lingzhi Farm has developed into a comprehensive integrated farm, incorporating all
the core business processes from cultivating, manufacturing, and packaging activities for
its wide-range of Ganoderma-based products.
- As of now, the area of the integrated DXN Lingzhi Farm stands at 33.95 hectares. It is
the largest farm in Malaysia and the first Malaysian Lingzhi farm to receive MS ISO
14001:2004 certification from Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance, since July 2000. This
is to ensure all activities in cultivating Ganoderma are met with MS ISO 14001:2004
standard and comply to legal requirement by Department of Environment.
- In November 2007, DXN Lingzhi Farm was accredited the Malaysian Organic Scheme
(Skim Organik Malaysia) certification by Department of Agriculture, Peninsular Malaysia
(Jabatan Pertanian Semenanjung Malaysia), which meets the standard of MS 1529:2001
and Certified Organic Farm.
- The DXN Pharmaceutical Factory has a built-up area of over 34,000 square meters and
equipped with the state of art technologies. It is the first Ganoderma processing factory
in Malaysia to be granted the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) certification from
the Ministry of Health and Ageing Australia and is accredited MS ISO 9001:2000
certification from Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance, since September, 1999. It is
amongst the first to receive the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification from
National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau, Ministry of Health Malaysia.
- The two DXN coffee-processing factories, with a total built-up area of 42,000 square
meters and up-to-date facilities, are occupied for the manufacturing of food and
beverages product ranges.
- DXN newly established factory, consists of Cosmetic products manufacturing and Juice &
Enzyme manufacturing. Cosmetic products manufacturing has been accredited GMP
certificate from National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau, Ministry of Health Malaysia in August, 2007. This factory cum administrative office has a built-up area of approximately
70,000 square meters.
- The Spirulina cultivation activities has expanded in the last few years. The cultivation
area of Spirulina ponds has reached a total of over 87,000 square meters. This has
further consolidated DXN´s manufacturing base and product ranges. DXN has received a
10-year pioneer status incentive on Spirulina cultivation and processing from MOA
(Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry).
- DXN has expanded into bio-fuel related research activities with its own strength and
expertise in biotechnology. The company has embarked on its own cultivation activities
to grow Jatropha and Castor as the feedstock for manufacturing bio-diesel.
- DXN has obtained MS ISO/IEC 17025 certification for its technical competence in a
defined scope and operation of a laboratory Quality Management System.
- The company will continue making more concerted efforts in research and development
in relation to biotechnology, bio-chemical and agricultural products.
- The integrated DXN Lingzhi Farm has become a tourist attraction in Kedah. In
conjunction with "Visit Kedah Year 2008", more visitors are expected to visit the farm next
year.
- On the product front, DXN's product series includes dietary supplements, food and
beverages, personal care products and household products. Each series has a
comprehensive spectrum of product ranges manufactured with superior quality in mind.
- As of now, DXN markets 99 products in total.
- The superiority of DXN´s products has been recognised worldwide, especially the core
products.
- On the marketing front, DXN is well known for its Ganoderma products in the multi-level
marketing business and has been leading the market for more than 10 years.
- DXN upholds "One World, One Market" concept, which allows its distributors to enjoy
worldwide bonuses with a single membership.
- As at October 2007, DXN has approximately 4 million distributors worldwide.
- DXN has penetrated in a total of 108 countries worldwide and aims to competently
expand the global market to reach 150 countries by 2010.
- DXN has added a branch in Sudan and three subsidiaries overseas, namely Daxen Inc.
Dominicana S.A., DXN International Pakistan (Private) Limited and DXN International
(Kenya) Limited.
- Going forward, DXN is putting enormous effort to expand overseas market, with
Mongolia, South Africa, Colombia and United Kingdom in the pipeline.
